Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

You are first required to sign up to our client portal, which is for free. In the section ‘Order Product’, you can select a server type. Next, you are required to select one of the concrete product plans, which vary by number of servers and technical configuration. You always have the option to choose the plan “Enterprise”, for which you can request an individual amount of servers with specific parameter configurations that suit your specific needs. Subscription periods are flexible and you can choose between 1, 6, 12 and 24 months of commitment. Prices depend on the selected server type, configurations, number of servers and the commitment period. Prices are calculated automatically based on the selected options. For the product plan “Enterprise”, we will receive your request and come back to you with a dedicated offer within 24 hours on working days.

Once you have logged into the portal and selected a product plan, the payment can be made by credit card via the payment service provider Stripe. In the future, we will also enable other payment options. You will be able to download your invoices in the client portal under the section ‘Account – Invoices’.

You can neither upgrade nor downgrade your plan. However, you can seamlessly add additional servers to a running product plan at any time without any work on your end – enabled by our pre-installed secure Kubernetes cluster. You simply request an additional server for one of your secure clusters directly in the client portal by selecting the cluster and going to the section ‘Resources’. We will then add the server to your cluster.

You can cancel your plan until one month prior to the renewal date, which you find for each subscription inside the portal under the section ‘Subscription’. Here, click on “Manage subscription” and select “Cancel”. We will send you an e-mail with the confirmation of the cancellation. If you do not cancel your plan until one month prior to the renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew for the plan’s standard period.

We do not offer refunds. However, we offer the ‘Basic’ plan with a commitment period of only one month.

Yes, the currently available add-ons are just a starting point. We are now working on the provisioning of more pre-configured environments. Contact us for individual solution requests or provide us with valuable feedback on what use case you would like us to provide in the future.

Our product is built for businesses, but designed for developers. So, you should have a sufficiently technical background. More specifically, it will be of advantage if you have at least a basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes. We are always happy to support in any of the processes upon request.

Yes, we provide intuitive user guides for the three main processes involved to make the most out of our product: (i) How to manage the secure cluster infrastructure, (ii) How to deploy ready to use pre-built environments as add-ons on our secure infrastructure, (iii) How to build individual environments, so an application can be deployed on the secure infrastructure. While the latter process (iii) is supported by some general instructions that facilitate the development process, it still requires developer effort on your end, which we are happy to support as an additional serivce. The former two processes (i) and (ii), yet, are intuitive and require very few capacities on your end. The infrastructure is set up by us including the installation of the secure Kubernetes cluster software. Available add-ons can be deployed with just a few clicks.

Our Intel SGX-capable bare-metal servers are hosted in the reversible, scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure of OVHcloud, Europe’s leading cloud provider. Datacenters are located in Germany and France.
